On or about September 23rd, 2009, our site was hacked in a targeted fashion. The attackers focused on taking down the CWA Local2111's bulletin board, dedicated to the free expression of local members.
While your local continues to explore all technical and legal remedies, we're re-posting here some of the information that was lost. Below find links to pdf documents concerning research into Campus Works, Inc. - a firm hired for a three year contract administering IT services at CCBC. Despite poor performance and low employee satisfaction and morale, their bid for a 3 year contract extension, which was tabled at the September 2009 board meeting, was stealthily approved during the November 2009 board meeting.
The timing of the cyber attack is curious, to say the least. Should this page be the target of another attack, simply contact the local in person, phone or email and request that this information be given or sent to you.
